May 22-28 is Associational Emphasis Week. Each day this week the Nashville Baptist Association will be sharing a little bit of information about the various ministries we're involved in throughout our city and how you can pray for the continued expansion of Jesus' church in greater Nashville.

Tuesday: Church Planting

Nashville is one of the most vibrant and progressive cities in the South. The greater Nashville area is home to approximately 1.8 million people and grows by an average of 100 people per day. If you look around, you can see evidence of Nashville’s growth everywhere. However, our city is approximately 75% unchurched. If you do the math, that means that as many as 1.35 million people in Nashville do not have a relationship with Christ. This is why we remain committed to planting new churches throughout our city.

How You Can Pray:

Pray that God would continue to raise up church planters who feel called to Nashville.
Pray that established churches would come alongside new plants, providing encouragement, help, and resources
Pray for church planters to be called to the areas and people groups of Nashville that are most in need of new churches.
