Dear Associational Leaders.

I am Bob Moon, a recently retired minister of 50 years. For the last 10 years it has been my privilege to help coordinate the gathering of the Greater Nashville Ed/Discipleship Network. Our group’s geographic footprint stretches from Portland to Manchester and from Dickson to Cookeville.

But for this gathering, we are expanding our footprint!

In this challenging season is it possible to MAKE DISCIPLES of STUDENTS? We want to address this issue, head on.

On January 16, 2025 at 10 am at Victory Baptist Church in Mt Juliet our network will assemble some of the best practitioners of student disciplemaking in central Tennessee. We will use a panel interview approach, then open the floor for questions.

ADDITIONALLY we have secured Dr. Richard Ross, seminary professor and veteran student ministry guru to join us via zoom. You may remember the global campaign TRUE LOVE WAITS…he was the creator of that!

Who should attend? I would strongly encourage PASTORS to attend, whether they have paid full time, paid part time, volunteer or NO student/youth ministry leadership. We want to address the issue of making student disciples, regardless of staff. Of course, student/youth staff and volunteers are encouraged to attend also.

We will have a box lunch delivered for each participant, but each person needs to pay for their own lunch.

Just for clarity, the Greater Nashville Ed/Discipleship Network operates on zero funding. We do not pay speakers, we do not pay the organizers. This group simply loves the Lord and His call to make disciples.
