The Call to Plant Churches
In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus said:
“The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
During a Churches Planting Churches Conference hosted by the North American Mission Board (NAMB), this truth was beautifully communicated. The conference focused on equipping and inspiring churches to actively engage in church planting efforts by becoming sending churches.
1 What is a Sending Church?

2 Identifying Potential Church Planters
- We explored the 9 essential qualities and characteristics of an effective church planter.
- Discussion centered around assessing spiritual maturity, leadership ability, calling, and entrepreneurial skills.
- Practical tools and resources were shared to evaluate and equip future church planters within our congregations.
