Dr. Lenny Farmer pastor at Nolensville First Baptist Church passed away and went home to be with his Lord June 1, 2025. He served as a pastor for more than 55 years in Southern Baptist churches in Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Brother Lenny came to Nolensville First Baptist Church November 10, 2024 as full time pastor. In the short time he was pastor, he had led the church with kindness, a loving heart, and a gentle spirit to have a new vision and direction for the church’s future. The church has experienced several people joining the fellowship, and it has helped to launch a new partnership ministry with Nolensville Christian Academy which is scheduled to open in August 2025.
Brother Lenny is survived by his wife, Elaine, four children, and five grandchildren. The members of Nolensville First Baptist Church are heartbroken by this loss. With the Lord’s guidance, the church will seek to honor Brother Lenny’s memory by continuing to grow and serve the Nolensville community.

- Wednesday, June 4 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. visitation at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home, 820 S. Church St., Murfreesboro.
- Thursday, June 5 at 2:00 p.m. funeral at Life Point Church, 506 Legacy Drive, Smyrna.
