Renewal Cohort: Encouragement for Pastors Pursuing Church Renewal
Across Nashville, many pastors are laboring faithfully in churches that need fresh vision and renewed vitality. The Renewal Cohort, a ministry of the Nashville Baptist Association, exists to serve those pastors.
Led by Nik Lingle, the cohort provides a space for pastors who are seeking to renew, revitalize, or replant their churches. Each gathering is designed to foster encouragement, prayer, and brotherhood among men who share the same calling and face similar challenges. Participants gain the opportunity to learn from one another, receive counsel from those who are further along the journey, and troubleshoot real ministry challenges together in a supportive, gospel-centered environment.
What you’ll find
- A brotherhood of pastors: around the table are men who understand your challenges—those walking ahead of you, alongside you, and those just beginning the journey.
- A space for honest conversation and prayer: share struggles, celebrate progress, and lift up each other and our churches before the Lord in prayer.
- Practical help for real-life issues: whether it’s congregational inertia, leadership burnout, outreach plateau, or replanting questions, we’ll trouble-shoot together and point to the gospel-shaped next steps.
- Sustained encouragement: This isn’t a one-and-done workshop. It’s an ongoing rhythm of support for the long haul of ministry renewal.
