On May 2nd and 3nd over 100 students and leaders gathered at Nashville First Baptist Church for the Next Gen Worship Project—a dynamic time of encouragement and equipping for emerging worship leaders, musicians, and tech team members. Local church worship teams led impactful worship sessions, followed by live labs that unpacked the planning and execution of weekly worship services. Breakout sessions focused on developing leadership, musicianship, and songwriting skills. A highlight of the event was a surprise visit from nationally known worship leader Keith Getty, who shared insights from his journey and led the group in singing two powerful hymns. The event was a collaborative effort between the Nashville Baptist Association and the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, reflecting a shared vision to invest in the future of worship ministry.
