Missional Engagement

Make Jesus known and make the community a better place!

Every church has a specific address and that address is no accident. God places churches as gospel outposts in neighborhoods, urban, suburban and rural for a specific purpose – to make Jesus known and make the community a better place.

As seasons and contexts change, so should the ways a church engages the community which surrounds them. The gospel message never changes, nor does the need to hear it. There are no neighborhoods where people do not need to hear the good news of gospel.

The NBA assists churches seeking to engage their communities in the following ways:

  1. Community Insight Report – churches may request custom reports with the most recent area demographics, population and financial trends and spiritual receptivity.
  2. Community Engagement Training – we offer workgroup and strategy sessions designed to help you discern and define your unique missional strategy and missionary pathway
  3. Church Facility Audit – church real estate is often some of the most underutilized space in the entire community. We can help your church consider ways to leverage your facility space to welcome, serve and bless your community.
  4. Community Engagement Resource Trailer – churches may rent, for low cost, a block party trailer with a bounce house, sound system, tables and chairs and other items for use at community events.
