Missional Engagement

Making Jesus Known through Diverse, Strategic, and Relational Mission
Every church is planted in a specific time and place—not by chance, but by God’s design. As gospel outposts across urban, suburban, and rural neighborhoods, our churches are called not only to proclaim the enduring truth of the Gospel but also to embody Christ’s love through cultural wisdom, strategic partnerships, and sustained presence. In Middle Tennessee’s beautiful diversity—with many languages, cultures, and histories—being missional means leaning into the richness of our multi-ethnic context. We want to grow toward missional models that don’t just tolerate difference, but celebrate it, learn from it, and let it shape how we reach and serve our neighbors.

Missional Mapping
Missional mapping is the process of helping churches see their community through gospel-shaped lenses and then chart a clear, Spirit-led course for engaging it. It begins with asking two essential questions: Who are we as a congregation? and Who has God placed around us? By mapping both congregational strengths and community realities, churches discover practical and relational pathways to share the good news of Jesus in ways that feel natural, meaningful, and sustainable.
Ethnic Partnership Playbook
A clear framework for churches to move beyond occasional collaboration into intentional missional partnership with ethnic congregations—sharing space, exchanging pulpits, celebrating diverse worship styles, and engaging in joint evangelism. It’s about partnership, not just proximity.

Diaspora Missions Collective
Share the love of Christ among the nations in our backyard.
A collaborative network of pastors, leaders, and practitioners devoted to ministering among diaspora communities in Nashville. With over 90 people groups calling this region home—and many among them unreached—the Collective offers connection, shared resources, and collective prayer to see gospel saturation across cultures.
Ethnic Ministry Incubator
A hands-on Co-Op that equips churches to build culturally relevant ministries that are sustainable and rooted in local context. Through workshops, coaching, strategic planning, and ongoing support, we help leaders launch, grow, and sustain ministries that reach new communities in meaningful ways.
