Henry Eugene “Hank” Erwin Jr. (born April 2, 1949) is an American evangelical Christian, former Alabama State Senator, and broadcaster. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he graduated from Ensley High School (1967), earned a B.S. from Troy State University (1972), a B.A. from Southeastern Bible College (1974), and a master’s from Dallas Seminary (1981). His father, Henry “Red” Erwin Sr., received the Medal of Honor in World War II.

Now living in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife, Shelia, Erwin founded Great American Prayer and speaks at pro-life and Christian events, earning awards like the ALCAP Dan Ireland Salt & Light Award.
