ESL Conference & Training

Churches and ministry leaders are invited to attend the ESL Conference & Training hosted by the Nashville Baptist Association in partnership with First Mt. Juliet on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

This one-day training is designed for churches interested in launching, strengthening, or expanding an ESL ministry, GED/HiSET program, or citizenship classes. As our communities continue to grow and diversify, educational ministries provide powerful opportunities to build relationships, meet practical needs, and share the hope of Christ.

Participants will gain practical tools and encouragement through sessions and breakouts covering:

• Why ESL (Program vs. Ministry)
• Immigration and your community
• Technology for ESL ministries
• Onboarding new volunteers
• Curriculum options
• Testimonies from local churches

Schedule:

• 8:30–9:00 AM – Coffee
• 9:00 AM–12:00 PM – Morning Sessions
• 12:00–1:00 PM – Lunch
• 1:00–4:00 PM – Afternoon Sessions
