On May 14th, the Nashville Baptist Association Church Library Ministry Network had their 7th quarterly gathering at Brentwood Baptist Church. We started these gatherings in September 2023 meeting at Forest Hills followed by Woodmont, Crievewood, Immanuel, Clearview, SBC Library and Archive, and Brentwood. We usually have 12-15 librarians representing 10-12 different churches. Our gatherings include fellowship, a tour of the library, and sharing ideas related to topics we identify for the discussion each time. In between gatherings we contact each other as we have need for assistance in making decisions and prayer needs for the libraries. Our group always has new participants at each gathering. We are continually trying to connect with church librarians in Middle Tennessee. We are also available to assist churches who are considering developing or restarting a library.
