Children’s Minister at New Hope Hermitage

New Hope Hermitage is seeking a full-time Children’s Minister to lead and shepherd their youngest disciples and their families by cultivating a thriving, gospel-centered Kids Ministry aligned with the mission and vision of the church. This role includes overseeing all aspects of Kids Ministry (K–5th grade), providing engaging biblical teaching, and creating a disciple-making environment that helps children grow in their faith.

The Children’s Minister will recruit and develop volunteers, strengthen ministry systems, and partner with families in the discipleship of their children while maintaining a strong, healthy ministry culture. This position also collaborates with church staff to support the overall vision and next-generation ministries of the church.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of three years of church staff experience in a family or next-generation ministry context, with demonstrated ability to lead and grow volunteer-driven ministries. Applicants should possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A bachelor’s degree or further education is preferred, along with experience serving on staff in a church with a congregation of 500 or more.
