ARISE AND BUILD NEEDS YOU TO HELP BUILD HOUSES IN EAST TN

Arise and Build is the Tennessee Baptist initiative to repair and build new homes for people affected by hurricane Helene. 

Significant progress has been made to repair homes, and we are now focused on building new homes to replace those destroyed. Tennessee Baptist Disaster Relief (TBDR) is working with Appalachia Service Project (ASP) to build these new homes. There are two ways you can be involved:

1. ASP needs Site Supervisors to work with volunteer teams from June 1 – August 2. Please see the attached document for specifics (three pages). Let me know if you are interested in being a Site Supervisor and click the link in the attached document to start the process.

2. We need teams to build houses over the next two years. Please contact me to start this process or for information.

Both opportunities are critical to our success in helping our fellow Tennesseans get back into habitable living conditions.
