Annual Church Profile

Each year, churches are asked to complete the Annual Church Profile (ACP), which plays an essential role in helping our Association, the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, and the Southern Baptist Convention understand how God is at work through our collective ministry efforts.

Why Does Your Church’s Data Matter?

Every number represents a story. For some churches, the numbers reflect steady faithfulness—week after week, members gather, pray, serve, and keep their church rooted in the community as a gospel outpost. For others, the data may reflect seasons of growth and momentum, while still others may be walking through times of challenge or transition. Whatever the season—decline, renewal, or revival—your church’s story matters. Every number tells part of that story. It represents people hearing about Jesus, being discipled, encouraged, and cared for by a local body of believers. No matter the size or trend, your faithfulness is seen by God and valued by us.

How Is This Information Used?

The ACP helps us better understand the health and needs of our churches. It informs how we pray, budget, and provide resources. It also helps us identify opportunities for mutual encouragement and collaboration. When I visit churches, I often reference ACP data to help shape conversations around vision, strategy, and support.
